Chinchillas are "treat monsters"!

Please remember that even though your chin loves all those treats to only give 1 to 2 a day!!! 

My choice of food for my chinchillas is Zupreem Chinchilla food.  I also like Kaytee Forti diet.

Chinchillas like oatmeal sprinkled on their food.  I buy the "quick oats" and sprinkle some on their food every now and then for a treat.

Soft Stools

If you notice soft or mussy stool in your chins cage- stop feeding pellets for a day or two and give extra hay in place of pellets.  This should clear up in a day or so.
